Enfant Soleil 2026 - A cause that reflects Go Sport's values

Go Sport stores are proud to announce that an amount of $110,968.79 was donated to Enfant Soleil as part of the 2026 annual campaign carried out across their network. Thanks to the commitment of franchisees, in-store teams, and the incredible generosity of their customers, Go Sport, together with the Chaussures Pop network, has helped raise nearly $600,000 over the past four years to support sick children in Quebec and their families.

This contribution adds to the amounts donated during previous campaigns: over $151,000 in 2023, $175,000 in 2024, and more than $151,000 in 2025. These results demonstrate the importance Go Sport places on its commitment to Enfant Soleil, a cause that deeply mobilizes the entire network.

“What makes us most proud in our commitment to Enfant Soleil is seeing employees and franchisees work together to achieve the same goal: making this fundraiser a success. It is truly a great source of pride for us as leaders to see this mobilization come to life throughout the network,” says Gabrielle Côté, a fourth-generation representative within the franchisor of Chaussures Pop and Go Sport stores.

“What also makes me very proud is the great generosity of our customers. We are truly fortunate to have such an engaged and generous community,” she adds.

A cause that reflects Go Sport’s values

Since its inception, Go Sport’s mission has been to encourage families to adopt an active lifestyle by offering clothing, shoes, and accessories suited to their sports and outdoor activities. This commitment to Enfant Soleil naturally aligns with the values that drive the brand.

“Chaussures Pop has been a family story for 40 years and aims to provide footwear for both parents and children. On the Go Sport side, our mission is to get both young and old moving. Health is a privilege. Enfant Soleil gives us the opportunity to give back to our community and help the children of our loyal customers,” explains Gabrielle Côté.

For Go Sport, supporting Enfant Soleil represents a concrete way to contribute to the health and well-being of local youth so they too can fully enjoy the joys of sports and physical activities.

A remarkable mobilization in stores

The 2026 campaign once again demonstrated the strong mobilization of the Go Sport network.

Among the standout stores, the Go Sport store in Mont-Laurier conducted an exceptional fundraiser by selling more than 530 tickets. To celebrate this achievement, Katy Dufresne, accompanied by Ariane Paiement and Daphnée Piché, represented the network at the official check presentation at the Téléthon Enfant Soleil.

The Drummondville store, recognized as one of the major leaders of this campaign for several years, sold an impressive total of 1,201 tickets.

Every contribution counts

For Gabrielle Côté, the involvement of businesses with Enfant Soleil represents much more than just a fundraiser.

“I would encourage all organizations to get involved. A small donation can make a difference, and every contribution counts. It is an extremely rewarding experience and a unique opportunity to witness the generosity of those around us. When one company commits, it inspires others to do the same. Together, we build stronger and more supportive local communities.”

“Seeing the gratitude of the families helped is extremely rewarding and gives full meaning to our commitment,” she concludes.
