Chlorophyll, a major Canadian brand, emerged before the outdoors became an industry, focusing on outdoor enthusiasts regardless of sporting nature. Since 1980, she has strived to improve her seasonal clothing by collaborating with various people, while preserving the environment. Although Chlorophyll does not seek to be seen as visionary, it continues to encourage outdoor activities.

During the 1980s, in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Chlorophyll was founded by adventure enthusiasts. After a three-year journey across the Americas, they created the first clothes Chlorophyll HI-TECH, initially winter coats and anoraks. During the 1990s, the company capitalized on its experience by equipping scientists, explorers and adventurers, expanding its presence internationally. The 2000s were marked by a strengthening of environmental commitment, illustrated by participation in a mission to Antarctica. The following decade saw an evolution, with weather-appropriate technical clothing gaining popularity in urban settings. In 2020, with 13 stores and extensive distribution, Chlorophyll remains an advocate for the environment, incorporating sustainable practices and educating clients on nature preservation.
